Getting to know you... Getting to know all about you...
I will be putting together a powerpoint show to help the students introduce themselves to the classroom. I would like five photographs from each student to be put in the slideshow. These photos can show the student's family, favorite food, favorite things to do, pets, etc. I would like parents to email these photos if possible. If you cannot email the pictures to me will you please send them with your student no later than September 15 with their name printed on the back of each photograph. I will scan the photos and return them to you by September 20th. Thank you for your cooperation, Mrs. Crossley

Mrs. Crossley's Kindergarten Class Fall 2010
The beginning of a new school year is always an exciting time for me! I love to get to know each and every one of my students and their family! This year we will be communicating a lot using technology. This blog will be set up to let parents know what is going on in our classroom, and specifically how we are integrating technology into our everyday lessons.
I encourage parental involvement and comments. There is a spot at the bottom of each post that you can leave feedback for me. This way I will know if you have any ideas, concerns, or input. You can always contact me via traditional methods as well, but for those of you that can, I would encourage that you use the blog for communication so that other parents can view what you say.
This year we have two new computers in our classroom. They have headphones, and we will be using these as a literacy tool. We have several story books on the computer that will read along with the children. This is going to be a reward for the students as well for things like getting in all of their work, being on time for school, and demonstrating excellent behavior in the classroom.
Once again I look forward to this year and teaching each one of your children!
